The project vg30de conversion was a bust, as I grown tired of hacking the ignition just to get it to work with Megasquirt 3.0. Seems that finding related parts and harnesses is alot harder than it used to be. j30 is not wired the same way as the z32 is there for I couldn’t use the harness and I’ve been running into odb2 at the yard.
So instead of spending another 1k or even more just to convert the ignition switch over to an 12+1 setup.
I decided to finally remove the whole V6 concept that it came with and go the ca18det route anyways.
vg30 single over head cams version is not much of a dime a dozen anymore in the yards. I even thought about doing the whole vg34s setup. In the end I have this setup, it was the motor I purchased in 2015ish I wanted to run it and so on so here it is. This is more worth the investment and in the future upgrade to an sr20det.
