Vegas Drift – 07-12-2019 – Much Needed Therapy

Vegas Drift 07/12 The time was here, the storm was closing in from the south side of town but it only lasted an hour as it had no effect on me driving to the track.

Loaded 4 old tires after filling them with 80PSI of pressure. loaded some tools just incase something breaks at the track for a quick fix.

Loaded the jack and other stuff.

The day was fun and as  I made it out there at first intention was just to drive the wet course but decided to never mind an go the full course as I had alot of drama kicking in, in the past few days at work and with my own family so I really needed some seat time.

Going out there I stepped into the wet session and was like ok, it’s not that bad and went to the main track once I got over my fear for it and I am glad I did.

Now as I was calling it for the night, I had a major issue that arises near the end. From here I have made a call at 11:30pm – 12 midnight to find a tow, I found 1 and waited over 3 hours to hear they wont make it. I called another one about 2 and half hours in from someone who dragged someone out that night.
They turned off all the lights to the track around 1:30am from there I was being attacked by giant crickets and I watched a Coyote roam around looking for foods while I wait inside the car. At this time it was still over 95F at the track so I am melting from inside this car as I wait tired as can  be.

Next day I found out it was the cam gear / shaft is what gave out.  This is Drift Life, it was to be expected as this thing has taken alot of abuse in the past. I will rebuild, rinse and repeat.

Here is a few GoPro Clips from the event. (updated, my mom passed away on July 17th this was the last video she seen of me enjoying myself and happy)
